BLT Prime seeks an Experienced General Manager
We're seeking an experienced leader who will take bottom-line responsibility for our restaurant's fiscal health and be the "face" of our establishment. As the General Manager, you'll oversee restaurant operations, monitor daily sales reports, and verify all invoices for payment.
You'll also be responsible for guiding and training our service staff to ensure that they have comprehensive knowledge of the menu, wine list, and service standards. With your help, we'll maintain a healthy, happy, and productive work environment for our employees, fostering loyalty and dedication.
Restaurant Operations:
- Monitor daily sales reports and cash flow
- Verify all invoices for payment
- Update daily food cost reports/projections and review with Chef
- Oversee comp/void reporting
- Schedule all FOH employees and monitor overtime
- Oversee tip reporting
- Submit payroll reports to accounting
Service:
- Be physically present on the floor during service to ensure service standards
- Guide, direct and train service staff; observe the flow of guests, and provide assistance when necessary
- Personally involve self with the service of VIP tables
- Assist in expediting smooth seating and guest satisfaction/special requests
- Communicate with kitchen regarding pace of service, special needs, and general guest satisfaction
- Assist in wine sales and service
Staff:
- Hire and Train the staff to have comprehensive knowledge of the menu, wine list and service standards
- Observe staff appearance before and during service and take action as necessary
- Discuss any service procedures that need addressing
- Conduct trainings and staff meetings as needed to clearly communicate expectations to team
- Maintain a healthy, happy and productive work environment for employees to foster loyalty and dedication
Position Requirements
- 5+ years management experience; minimum 2+ years' General Manager experience
- Fine-Dining experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($100,000.00 - $115,000.00) plus tips
