Michelin recommended restaurant HUSO, by Marky's Caviar and two time Top Chef winner Buddha Lo in the heart of Tribeca is seeking experienced Front of House Staff.
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Host/Hostess who are passionate about food and hospitality to join our team. Schedule: 3:30pm-11:30pm Wednesday through Sunday with dinner service seatings between 5:00pm and 9:30pm.
As a Host at HUSO you will greet and assist retail and restaurant customers, answer phone calls, handle coat check, manage reservations via Resy, and assist the General Manager with monitoring the flow of the floor. Additionally, you will help maintain store cleanliness, assist retail guests, and be fully educated on Marky’s Caviar gourmet selection (especially Caviar).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers and assist them with locating retail products and/or answering any questions
- Assist customers over the phone (advise on reservation availability, manage Resy availability)
- Use Clover POS to ring up and process transactions as a cashier for customers
- Provide friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and escalate to management as needed
- Re-stock shelves with products and monitor stock levels
- Ensure FIFO procedures are followed
- Ensure all food items are stored according to health and safety regulations (maintain proper fridge temperatures)
- Greet and assist dine-in customers with reservations
Job Type: Full-Time - Note, we do not accept 1099 independent contractors and require proof of residency.
We are closed on most major holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.
