Job Details
Cuisine Boulud New York is a new off-premise, full service, multi vertical catering company. We are looking for a well-rounded Director of Sales to help develop and grow the catering sales for Cuisine Boulud.
This position will be responsible for the creation and development of the Cuisine Boulud catering program, establishing the brand in the marketplace and meeting aggressive growth expectations.
This position receives a base salary in addition to commission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximizing sales through client and venue engagement.
- Oversee event planning process start to finish.
- Determining menus, setting pricing, honing service levels, and styling catering presentation.
- Working with the Corporate Director of Sales to cross promote across all Dinex Group brands.
- Defining and developing across our verticals: off-premise catering, exclusive venues, business dining and social events.
- Working with our existing teams to ensure flawless operations.
- Establishing client relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
- Preparing financial reports and analysis (weekly, monthly and ad-hoc).
- Working with our marketing and PR teams to drive sales.
- Ensure on site client satisfaction through on site-presence.
- Ability and desire to train and develop direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Catering and/or Sales Position based in Manhattan.
- Established contacts in the business, planning and venue community.
- Ability to interact with diverse and high-volume customer base in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Familiarity operating Web based event planning systems: process customer requests, changes to orders, menu updates and client profiles.
- Excellent communication – written and verbal with all levels of professionals.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, accomplish tasks without direct instruction, and problem solve for the best solutions.
- Exude passion for food and culinary trends, and convey this in discussion with high-profile clients.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite as well as web-based applications.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($130,000.00 - $160,000.00)
