Acquerello, a contemporary fine dining Italian restaurant with two Michelin stars, is seeking a gracious and professional captain. All candidates must have an interest in Italian cuisine, a passion for excellence, and a natural inclination toward organization, precision, and eloquence. Our service style requires that all our employees concern themselves, first and foremost, with the needs of our guests on every level. No detail is too small. From the moment you greet a guest, you represent us in your voice, attentiveness and actions. Captains are responsible for taking ownership over the guest experience to exceed expectations and maintaining a commitment to curating meaningful guest experiences. We work with a very small team, in a pooled system.
Job Requirements:
- Previous fine dining experience, including Michelin-starred experience
- Transparent passion for hospitality
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and team mentality
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Prior multi-course menu experience is very helpful
- Works quickly, neatly and efficiently in fast-paced environment
- Self-motivation and dedication to quality and professionalism
- Valid food handler’s certificate
- Previous experience with Aloha POS a plus, but not required
Compensation: Minimum wage plus percentage of 20% service charge.

Compensation: Hourly ($18.67) plus tips
