Very fast paced yet tight kitchen producing high quality sandwiches, salads and snacks for our cafe as part of the BE Hospitality team. during the spring/summer months the position requires expediting, cooking, managing a staff of about 10 people, ordering and kitchen organization and cleanliness. During the winter months it is a little slower paced and you will be asked to assist in events and where ever help is needed. Working directly with chefs Nicholas Elmi and Michael Millon, but being able to manage your own space and not have to be micro-managed is a must. We want to be able to train and teach and allow you to have the room to drive the team. Main responsibilities are keeping the team producing consistent food, keeping the kitchen clean, keeping food cost in line and communicating with the rest of the management team.
