Job Details

Boardwalk Bar & Arcade is hiring a Lead Line Cook. Boardwalk Bar & Arcade brings a vibrant and easygoing drinking, dining, and entertainment experience to the Wharf. We are looking for an experienced cook that is looking to continue learning and growing their career.  If that sounds like you than we would love to add you to our team. Hourly rate depends on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare dishes in a timely manner
  • Ensure all necessary prep is completed correctly for service
  • Follow the direction of your Chef
  • Work in a fast paced environment
  • Be respectful of coworkers, both front and back of house
  • Ensure stations are ready for service
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen
  • Check orders and alert the Chef of missing items
  • Ensure coworkers are following Chef's directions
  • Control the line when Chef is not there

Skills

  • Knowledge of kitchen operations
  • Ability to communicate with fellow staff
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Knife and cooking skills are a must

Compensation: Hourly rate is between $18-$22/hr depending on experience. 

Job Types: 35+ hours per week
