Wine retailer looking for a full time warehouse associate.
THE ROLE
Provide exceptional service for both clients and members of staff for all logistics-related activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of wine/liq. orders in compliance with all associated laws and regulations. Help maintain an accurate inventory at all time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with the sales team to deliver an integrated, consistent, and exceptional client experience.
• Maintain accurate inventory by adding/depleting wines in real time.
• Communicate well with customers and fellow team members..
• Ship in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES
• College degree (not mandatory) with at least 2-3 years of industry experience
• Proactive communicator and solution oriented
• Good wine knowledge, understanding of wine labels, and ability to read wine labels correctly.
• Comfortable speaking with clients and client facing teams.
• Excellent client service skills; ability to remain calm in pressure situations
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member to complete the task at hand
• Strong organizational skills to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holiday hours is required
• Ability to lift 50lb cases on a regular basis is required.
