Next Restaurant seeks a full-time Expeditor with a strong sense of urgency and determination who consider hospitality their career. We are currently in our Hollywood Menu. As an Expeditor, it will be your duty to ensure the steady flow of service, acting as the liaison between the Back of House and Front of House Teams. We encourage growth and learning as a team, so you must enjoy the educational aspects of Food & Beverage.
The Expeditor’s role is to call orders to the kitchen team and track the timely execution of each dish. The Expeditor also ensures that all food items leaving the kitchen are complete, accurately garnished, are produced in a timely fashion, and are taken to the proper guest tables. Ensures that all of the FOH team is trained on presenting food items properly. The Expeditor is the liaison and the single point of communication between the kitchen team and the service team.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Work under the direction of our managers and chefs
Effectively pass information from kitchen to the service team
Study and learn every element of each dish and beverage
45-55 hours per week
Depending on experience
