SQIRL: Barista
We are now looking for a HYBRID ROLL - Somedays you may be on bar while other days you may be on cashier/running. In all rolls, your position is to be supportive to the restaurant - taking orders, bussing, assisting guests getting what they need.
This roll requires you to be a kind, positive and problem resolving individual who likes to create systems and work as a team player to lead by example on bar and communicate with the FOH team at large. This is a fast-paced, dynamic, hybrid roll, as you will need to learn all facets of the FOH buisness as you may liason or cashier if necessary. Baristas do not just stay behind the bar; they are out running drinks and helping the team with quick service.
You also need to be a people person, enjoy being part of a team, and appreciated quality food and food service--what hospitality means. Kindness is the most important quality seeked - kindness to your teammates, to yourself, and to customers. <3
Responsibilities
· Prepare espresso and other beverages to standards for quality and consistency including latte art
· Maintain knowledge of food menu items and our specific standards for ordering
· Greet and connect with every customer and help influence purchasing decisions
· Continually grow knowledge of coffee, food items and customers
· Follow proper service and register/cash handling policies and procedures
· Follow proper runner protocols
Requirements
· 2 Years Barista Experience
· Register/Cash handling experience
· Excellent customer service skills
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Positive attitude and a deep understanding of hospitality during even the busiest of time
*Ability to multi-task during a 7-8 hour shift
*** Prior barista experience MUST be with a Third Wave Bar Program. Please DO NOT apply if your only barista experience includes Starbucks, Coffee Bean, etc. ***

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($17.75 - $18.50) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $400
