Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Hostess to join the team at Bardea Food & Drink. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for their dining experience. The ideal candidate will be warm, organized, and passionate about hospitality, ensuring each guest feels welcome and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Reception: Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
- Seating Management: Manage reservations and seating assignments to optimize table turnover and ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Reservations Coordination: Maintain an accurate reservation system using our booking platform, accommodating special requests and preferences when possible.
- Communication: Liaise between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and timely updates on table availability.
- Hospitality Standards: Provide an exceptional level of service, responding to guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
- Ambassador Role: Represent Bardea’s brand by being knowledgeable about the menu, Chef DiMeo’s philosophy, and the restaurant's commitment to the community.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hostess or front-of-house role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain composed and friendly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
