Episcope is now looking for an experienced, passionate General Manager to lead our newest Chicago location, DJ’s Great Room.
Located at the base of 920 North Wells, DJ’s Great Room sits at the intersection of the River North, Old Town, and Gold Coast neighborhoods of Chicago. Upon entering DJ's, The Anteroom boasts an expansive bar and stunning design. Continue to find the Great Room, a space conducive for entertaining friends, meeting coworkers, or dining with family. DJ’s Great Room is what a neighborhood eatery should be, the best room in the house.
Position Overview:As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in our restaurant's operations by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to our guests. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to maintain our high standards of service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous service when delivering food to guests.
- Ensure accuracy by confirming orders before leaving the kitchen.
- Assist servers with food presentation and table setup.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining areas and kitchen surroundings.
- Communicate effectively with guests, kitchen staff, and servers to keep everything running smoothly.
- Assist in stocking supplies and inventory management as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications:
• Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests. Be comfortable speaking to and communicating with guests.
• Be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($12.00) plus tips
