The Duck & The Peach, located in the heart of Capitol Hill, is a vibrant New American restaurant that combines creativity, community, and exceptional hospitality. We’re looking for enthusiastic and organized Hosts to be the warm and welcoming face of our restaurant, setting the tone for memorable guest experiences.

What We’re Looking For:
As a host at The Duck & The Peach, you’ll be an essential part of our team, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they walk through our doors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting every guest with a smile and an inviting presence.
• Managing reservations, seating plans, and waitlists using OpenTable or similar reservation systems.
• Ensuring the host stand is well-stocked and organized with menus and supplies.
• Providing accurate wait times and proactively communicating with guests.
• Escorting guests to their tables and preparing the dining area with care.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in dining and serving areas.
• Helping create a positive, warm atmosphere that encourages guests to return.

What You Bring:
We’re looking for team members who thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and are passionate about hospitality. Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience with OpenTable or a similar reservation platform.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• A professional, polished, and personable demeanor.
• The ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.

Previous hosting experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person with a great attitude and enthusiasm for hospitality!
