We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Floor Manager / Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team at a hip and vibrant hotel located in the heart of Midtown East. Our rooftop bar is a year-round oasis, offering breathtaking views, exceptional cocktails, and an unparalleled guest experience—all under a covered, heated, and stylish setting.

The Role

As the Floor Manager / Assistant General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring our rooftop bar operates seamlessly while delivering top-tier service. You’ll be the go-to person for managing nightly operations, leading the FOH team, and ensuring every guest enjoys an extraordinary experience. From curating the energy of the room to supporting the team behind the scenes, this is an opportunity to shine in a high-profile, nightlife-focused environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and Inspire: Supervise and motivate a team of talented servers, bartenders, and support staff to deliver impeccable service and create unforgettable moments for our guests.
  • Nightlife Operations: Oversee the nightly operations of the rooftop bar, ensuring smooth service, compliance with policies, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Event Support: Collaborate with the events team to execute private and semi-private events, ensuring seamless coordination and memorable experiences.
  • Build Relationships: Engage with guests to foster connections, resolve issues promptly, and elevate their experience.
  • Maintain Standards: Ensure the rooftop bar maintains its reputation for excellence, from cleanliness and ambiance to service and safety.
  • Team Development: Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring FOH staff, fostering a positive, growth-oriented work culture.
  • Financial Acumen: Monitor nightly sales, labor costs, and other key metrics to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle challenges with poise, including resolving guest concerns, addressing staffing needs, and managing unexpected situations.
