Job Details

Title: Guest Relations & Events Coordinator

Rate: $23/hour

This role will report directly to the General Manager, & Director of Marketing & Events. A flexible, can do anything attitude is required with 2+ years experience in hospitality, guest relations, & reservations. 

With a strong front of house team in place, we are looking for an exceptional leader at the midpoint of their career with the highest of ambitions. The successful candidate will have strong experience in restaurant and dining room management, and will be required to work the floor during service.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Management of dining room guest flow during service, act as lead host during service greeting & seating guests.

  • Must have RESY experience.

  • Assisting in the opening and closing of the dining rooms as needed to ensure optimal flow of guests.

  • Oversee & Manage VIP & Guest Relations during service along with pre and post guest communications as needed.

  • Oversee reservation platforms (Resy & Tripleseat) to ensure optimum booking opportunities, manage opening and closing of reservation shifts, daily check in with upcoming reservations. 

  • Understand flow of guests and any VIP guests joining during service and accommodate as necessary. Communicate with GM & DOE on any upcoming important reservations.

  • Working closely with the host staff, restaurant & bar managers, and supporting the service staff when needed.

  • Directing, coaching and managing guest relations team and front door function (Resy, phones, etc).

  • Manage communication with guests for booking large party reservations, creating prefix dinner menus, communicating with kitchen staff, managing payment, ensuring management & staff are aware of events going on in the venue.

  • Overseeing and coordinating special guests requests (VIPs, etc).

  • Developing initiatives to build sales, profitability and guest counts.

  • Assist in small admin tasks at the restaurant as it relates to reservations & guest relations.

  • Potential Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 12pm-8pm, events as needed.
