Highly-acclaimed Ai Fiori, from famed hospitality firm Altamarea Group and located at the Langham New York Hotel, is looking for energetic & passionate pastry cooks to join the team. Ai Fiori showcases modern interpretations of cuisine from the French and Italian Riviera and offers employees the opportunity to work with quality Italian cuisine & industry-leading chefs, a respectful, safe, professional work environment, and a management team uniquely invested in the growth and success of all team members.
Pastry Cook Responsibilities include:
- AM/PM service and/or production
- Working in a learning environment with room for professional development and growth
- Operating in a clean workspace and producing top-quality desserts to support the pastry team
Pastry Cook Requirements:
- Baking/Pastry degree or relevant high-end restaurant experience
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment and manage pressure well
- Responsible, respectful and team player
- Great work ethic and committed to being the best
- Physical requirements include: ability to lift and carry items up to 50lbs, and to stand, walk up and down stairs, and exert well-paced mobility for extended period of time
- Broad and flexible availability to work

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $23.00)

Open since 2010 and located inside The Langham (a 5-star luxury hotel in midtown Manhattan), Ai Fiori, which translates in Italian to ‘Among the Flowers’, offers an elegant and dazzling luxury dining experience. Whether in our spacious dining room with lush florals overlooking Fifth Avenue, one of our private rooms for an intimate gathering or business meeting, or at Bar Fiori our vibrant bar and lounge, our guests are treated to an experience as if they were in the Riviera. The menu features Altamarea Group signature handmade pastas and regional dishes inspired by land and sea. Ai Fiori is honored to be one of just a dozen restaurants in New York City to hold the prestigious Wine Spectator Grand Award.
