PM Dishwasher

The Alinea Group is looking for a full-time Dishwasher to join our team! The Dishwasher is a crucial part of the team to ensure high standards of sanitation and cleanliness for our guests. This is a full time position, paid hourly, and candidates must be willing to work 40+ hours, 5 days a week. Candidates must be available to work Wednesday - Sunday.

Next is a pre-fixe experience that undergoes a creative overhaul every four months, each time inviting guests to explore a new culinary region, theme or moment in time. For example, Winter 2019’s Silk & Spice menu featured dishes that explored the spices and flavors along the historic trade route in Asia, Northeast Africa and Europe. Next was named the Best New Restaurant in the U.S. by the James Beard Foundation in 2012 and awarded a Michelin Star. Past menus have included Ancient Rome (2017), The Hunt (2012), and Paris 1906 (2011).

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glasses, pots and pans by hand or via commercial dish/glass washer
• Dry and polish all serviceware, glassware and flatware 
• Report any maintenance deficiencies to appropriate resource
• Sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets
• Removal of garbage and waste to compactors or recycling bins 
• Maintain general cleanliness of dining rooms, kitchens, restrooms and outside areas 
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• 1 or more year experience of dishwashing or comparable position 
• Ability to operate dish machines, cleaning tools and other required equipment safely 
• Ability to follow instructions, anticipate needs, and multitask 
• Can work individually and within a team environment 

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours 
• Must be able to move, pull or lift at least 35 pounds
• Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
