Key Responsibilities:
Culinary Excellence
- Culinary Standard: Ensure every dish reflects the highest levels of quality and consistency.
- Kitchen Systems: Ensure kitchen operations are focused and well executed.
- Recipe and Menu Execution: Execute established recipes, portion control, and presentation standards. Ensure the consistent delivery of our menu across all spaces.
Teamwork
- Feedback and Expectations: Must understand the importance of receiving constructive criticism.
- Accountability and Integrity: Mandatory participation in all line-checks and check-ins. Must strive to do the right thing, even when no one is watching.
- Fostering Positive Culture: Help create a high-energy, collaborative environment where team members feel inspired and empowered.
Operational Excellence
- Station Managements: Work closely with the Chefs to manage the station and all mise en place. Communicate all needs and concerns in a timely manner.
- Inventory and Production: Must be diligent and possess understanding of production, portion control and counts.
- Scheduling: Must be flexible and willing to work in high pressure situations and open to working nights and some holidays.
Health, Safety, and Cleanliness
- Compliance with Regulations: Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety guidelines, including maintaining an “A” rating from the Health Department. Must be ServSafe certified.
- Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain an organized and spotless kitchen, ensure all equipment is in good working order, and follow proper maintenance procedures for a safe work environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
