As General Manager, you’ll:
Customer Satisfaction- Deliver exceptional customer service and address any concerns proactively.
- Hire and train high-quality team members to ensure consistent guest satisfaction.
- Maintain restaurant quality, service, and cleanliness standards (QSC).
- Train and empower employees in food and beverage knowledge, operational procedures, and customer service.
- Conduct regular employee reviews and provide opportunities for growth.
- Ensure all team members are aligned with RC Family’s mission, policies, and procedures.
- Maximize financial performance through effective labor and resource management.
- Organize supplies and maintain non-food inventories.
- Manage menu updates, special event menus, and online menu presence in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Develop additional revenue opportunities, including takeout, catering, and special events.
- Enforce labor laws and food safety standards.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and guests.
- Serve as a role model in all aspects of business and personnel management.
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
- 3–5 years of management experience (restaurant experience preferred).
- Strong communication skills; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Current Manager Level Food Handlers Permit.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
- Availability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, with flexibility for restaurant needs.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Attire should align with the venue's tone and reflect professionalism.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($90,000.00 - $100,000.00)

Founder Josh Loeb hosted an intimate series of dinners at his tree house-like home nestled in Rustic Canyon. He’d shop at the nearby Santa Monica Farmers’ Market for the best produce and come up with different themes for each night. Lovers of quality food and wine would gather around a long, candlelit table to share the joy of a meal created with thought and passion. New friends were made, stories were told and favorite wines were discovered. This is what inspired the idea behind Rustic Canyon, which opened in December 2006. Soon after, Zoe Nathan, also a Santa Monica native, joined the team as pastry chef. She and Josh fell in love, and with their friend Colby Goff, they began opening more restaurants in the neighborhood.
We have a small executive team, so we can support the various restaurants in our group!
