Located in the West Village, Fairfax is a bustling neighborhood restaurant with American tavern inspirations. Part of Happy Cooking Hospitality, Fairfax is energetic and ingredient driven with fine dining aspirations in a casual atmosphere.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned cook with a background in fine dining seeking a move towards management and stability.  You should be interested in growing professionally, contributing to the direction of the menus and daily addition, and improving the art of hospitality within Fairfax’s walls.

  • Proven work experience as a lead line cook or similar role in a fine-dining restaurant
  • Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and ingredients
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle high-pressure situations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and interact with customers

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00-$75,000.00)
