We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and lead our team to continued success.
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, driving revenue, managing costs, and fostering a positive work environment. You will lead, motivate, and develop a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff to consistently provide excellent service and uphold our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of staff members, ensuring a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused environment. Train, mentor, and develop team members to foster career growth.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining restaurant cleanliness and organization.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests. Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Financial Performance: Manage the restaurant’s budget, control costs, and ensure profitability. Oversee cash handling, daily revenue reporting, and other financial duties.
- Staffing & Recruitment: Assist in hiring, training, and retaining high-performing staff. Scheduling FOH staff to Ensure adequate staffing levels for smooth operations.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment in accordance with local health and safety regulations.
- Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the restaurant and drive sales through special events, social media, and local partnerships.
- Inventory & Ordering: Manage inventory levels and order supplies, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality, portion control, and consistency to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financials, and budget management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for food, hospitality, and customer service.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus, but not required.
