Violet® founder | Dana Slatkin:
Dana is a Culinary Institute of America-trained chef, restauranteur, cookbook author, and cooking class instructor. Her years studying in France, working in food production and restaurants, running a wholesale food business and cooking school, and being part of her family’s hotel business have led her to create a unique gathering place centered around good cooking and good company. The charming Bistro, Cooking School, Bar and Shop have become a destination for locals, foodies, and experience-seekers of all ages. Head Chef Brittany Cassidy trained under Rustic Canyon's and Birdie G.'s Jeremy Fox for seven years before taking the helm at Violet. She is a dedicated mentor who believes that anyone with a work ethic and a love of food can train to become a chef.
