Overview: 
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic chef looking to grow their skills in a dynamic kitchen environment. Working closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef, the Junior Sous Chef will help lead the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality standards in food preparation, presentation, and service. A strong understanding of Italian cuisine, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit are essential to this role.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high quality and consistency.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage ingredients to minimize waste.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques, recipes, and kitchen protocols.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal menu items and special dishes.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace that reflects the standards of Giuseppe & Sons.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of culinary experience in an upscale or fine-dining environment.
- Familiarity with Italian cuisine and a passion for Italian cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Strong leadership skills, with a desire to teach and inspire junior team members.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and commitment to high-quality service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
