We are seeking a creative and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The Sous

Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager to manage daily kitchen activities,

including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and

freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Kitchen Manager in all aspects of kitchen management, from meal creation to

employee supervision.

- Enhance menu offerings, manage inventory, and ensure that all health and safety

regulations are followed.

- Supervise kitchen staff’s activities, assign production tasks, and ensure quality and

speed of food preparation.

- Collaborate on menu planning and focus on reducing waste.

- Ensure a clean and safe work area and optimize kitchen processes.

- Nurture a culture of excellence, teamwork, and respect within the kitchen team.

- Solve problems quickly and efficiently, maintaining a professional work environment.

- Conduct regular staff reviews, manage staff schedules, and provide feedback to

improve performance.

Required Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

- Strong understanding of culinary, hygiene, and food safety standards.

- Exceptional proven ability in kitchen management.

- Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.

- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.

- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.

- Familiarity with sanitation regulations.

- Culinary school diploma preferred.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($60,785.00 - $65,000.00)
