Job Description

A Barback, supports bartenders by stocking supplies, cleaning/polishing glassware, and maintaining bar cleanliness. They assist with preparing garnishes, replenishing ice, and ensuring both areas for guests and bar are well-organized and clean.  Additionally, to provide seamless service Bar Porters help with customer service tasks, such as delivering drinks, notifying bartenders about refills, and communicating with guests. The role also requires the ability to lift heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs), and involves physical activity across multiple floors. Must maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar/dining areas and work efficiently to enhance the guests experience.


Requirements + Certifications: 

  • Be on time, ready to work

  • Maintaining standards + R.A.M.P and/or ServSafe Certified

Qualifications:

  • Requires strong communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English. Familiarity with our restaurant's mission, software, menu details, and venue layout is essential.
  • Willingness to stand for long periods of time
  • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.

Scheduling: 

  • Involves constant public contact. Work environment is subject to varying levels of high energy, loud noise, crowds and pace, which depends upon guest volume.
  • Work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays , Work may be performed in small areas, inside or outside throughout the year, varying conditions of temperature, lighting and air quality.
