Restaurant Manager – San Francisco Starting Pay: $75,000 - $85,000/year

About Us:

Broad Street Oyster Company is a fast-growing seafood spot with a simple mission: serve world-class lobster rolls, oysters, and good times. We’re not your typical buttoned-up restaurant—we’re high-energy, hands-on, and obsessed with making both our guests and our crew feel at home. Our San Francisco location in Ghirardelli Square needs a Restaurant Manager who’s as comfortable working the floor with guests as they are jumping on the line or in the dish pit when things get busy.

 

What You’ll Do:

This isn’t a sit-in-the-office kind of role. You’ll be on your feet, leading by example, making sure the FOH and BOH run as one smooth operation. One minute you’re coaching a server, the next you’re checking ticket times in the kitchen, and later you’re high-fiving a guest on their way out.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and mentoring FOH and BOH teams with a hands-on approach.

  • Jumping into service wherever you’re needed—expo, floor, or kitchen.

  • Keeping things tight with health, safety, and food quality standards.

  • Handling scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost controls.

  • Driving FOH/BOH communication so the whole crew moves in sync.

  • Working with leadership on strategies to grow sales and keep the vibe strong.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership experience in a busy restaurant setting.

  • Comfortable managing both sides of the house—guest service and kitchen ops.

  • Strong communicator who can keep a team motivated and accountable.

  • Cool under pressure with solid problem-solving skills.

  • Loves hospitality and knows how to make guests feel taken care of.

  • Up to speed on food safety and compliance.
