Place des Fêtes is a neighborhood wine bar from Redwood Hospitality — the team behind Cafe Mado, Laurel Bakery, Golden Ratio, and the Michelin-starred Oxalis (temporarily closed).
We are hiring a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This role is suited for a cook with strong fundamentals, excellent organization, and the ability to take full ownership of a station. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a disciplined, high-paced environment and brings consistency, clarity, and a commitment to growth every day.
Responsibilities:

Run an assigned station with confidence during prep and service

Execute dishes to exact standards, maintaining consistency throughout service

Lead mise en place: set pars, anticipate needs, and maintain a highly organized workspace

Help support and guide Line Cooks, reinforcing kitchen systems and expectations

Manage product: receive inventory, rotate stock, minimize waste

Communicate proactively with the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine

Maintain DOH compliance and overall kitchen cleanliness

Step in to support other stations as needed
Qualifications:
-
2–3+ years experience in a quality-focused, high-volume kitchen

Strong knife skills and a firm understanding of core techniques

Ability to run a station independently while supporting the team
-
Calm, focused presence under pressure

Strong communication and organizational habits
-
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
