Job Title: Restaurant General Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage a high-performing team. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, financial performance, and a high-quality dining experience for our guests. As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the restaurant's success and enhancing its reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, always ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor and manage staff schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels to meet business needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, complying with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize restaurant performance.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the restaurant’s budget, including overseeing expenses, inventory, and ordering supplies.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs), such as sales, labor costs, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
- Staff Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, hire, train, and onboard restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and support staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, motivating staff to deliver excellent service.
- Resolve conflicts and handle employee relations issues as they arise.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining quality control over food, service, and ambiance.
- Address customer complaints and concerns promptly, ensuring positive resolutions and customer retention.
- Continuously improve guest experience by implementing new service strategies and innovations.
- Marketing & Sales:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotions, special events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Monitor customer trends and feedback to identify opportunities for improving the restaurant's offerings.
- Drive sales through effective upselling and guest engagement strategies.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring sufficient stock of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, maintain relationships, and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or in another relevant leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food service, inventory control, and financial management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in using restaurant management software, POS systems, Triple Seat CRM and basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Culinary background or understanding of kitchen operations is required.
- Understanding of all revenue streams for the restaurant.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing a high-volume restaurant.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
