Massara is an Italian restaurant from the team behind Michelin Starred Rezdôra in the Flatiron District of New York City. The focus is on the cuisine of Campania, wood fired cooking and the pastas of the region. We have a great management team and are currently looking for a sous chef whom loves Italian food and wants to cook the food from southern Italia and the surrounding regions in a very authentic, Italian way.

Traits we’re looking for:
- 1+ year of experience in leadership within a fine casual and/or fine dining environment
- Chefs looking to execute delicious Italian food at a high level
- Maintaining excellence and high standards of quality in both food and hospitality
- Working well and maintaining a positive work environment with their fellow peers in the kitchen and in conjunction with front of the house
- Taking part in education of FOH peers on all aspects of our menu and ingredients from Italy
- Self-starter & excellent organizational skills, with a capacity to follow through on tasks
- Upholding cleanliness and “A” level health code standards at all times
- With the assistance of the sous chef team, ensuring line cooks and additional BOH team members, are properly trained to execute their stations effectively
