Doorman

Sip & Guzzle is seeking a door person that is the first point of contact for guests joining us, and embodies a sense of hospitality. In this role, they will ensure customers meet the age requirements and are in a position to enjoy the experience we offer. In addition, Doorperson s need to assist the Host in managing customer experiences and expectations regarding reservations and other related matters.

DOORPERSON ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Screen customers for age and the ability to enjoy our experience.
Maintain the front of the building throughout the service, ensuring it is devoid of debris and garbage.
Facilitate the flow of traffic in and out of the building.
Follow standard operating procedures for opening and closing tasks.
Consistently follow hosting etiquette and technical aspects of the role.
Perform related duties as requested by leadership teams.
Be a team player.
Be an effective communicator a during shift, alerting team members to operational issues or concerns. 

Serve as an ambassador for the brand by understanding the full operations of both Sip & Guzzle, and be able to use Resy to manage the waitlist on occasional nights to ensure no guest leaves uninformed or unhappy. 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Have a hospitality orientation and experience in similar roles.
Be punctual, and enthusiastic. 
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have the requisite schedule availability.
Be able to take constructive criticism and work within an collaborative team environment. 
Candidates must be able to stand for long periods.
