TAKODA Restaurant & Beer Garden is looking to hire a few part-time Bartenders. TAKODA brings a vibrant and easygoing drinking, dining, and entertainment experience to the Shaw neighborhood. Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
Compensation: We pay our tipped hourly employees $10/HR plus tips in accordance with DC law. With tips our employees average in the $20-$30/HR range. With the right staff we only see this increasing!
Job Types: Part-time / Full-time
Salary: $10 per hour plus tips!!!
