We are seeking Server Assistants to join Forbes Four Star restaurant, Restaurant Le B., located in Greenwich Village. Helmed by Chef/Restaurateur Angie Mar, the focus of Restaurant Le B. is continental cuisine for the modern diner. Utilizing classic French technique and both Chinese and Japanese ingredients, the restaurant pays homage to the French classics, whilst displaying modernity and evolution. 

Individuals must be reliable, outgoing and committed to providing excellent hospitality to our guests. The ideal candidate is someone who embodies hospitality and humility while providing an excellent guest experience in a fast-paced environment and is interested in growing and learning with us. 

Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays. 

Minimum of 2 years Fine Dining, Manhattan experience is required.

Duties & Essential Functions:

• Provide exceptional service to every customer 
• Maintaining an understanding of the proper steps of service and consistently executing them with efficiency and grace while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service 
• Provide support to all Captains
• Demonstrate an understanding of the difference in roles of the support team and their individual responsibilities
• Accurately identify tables and position numbers
• Maintain the highest standards for quality when polishing china, glass and silver for service
• Previous NYC hospitality experience preferred (1-2 years).
• Food safety knowledge
• Must be able to lift heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs)
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time over multiple floors
• Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing is required
• Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates
• This is an entry-level position with opportunity for growth
