June Wine Bar is a small restaurant that is looking for a line cook to grow and learn. This is a small restaurant that requires everyone that works to be a part of all aspects including learning about inventory management and ordering as well as managing staff. This is a great opportunity to learn from a Chef that has cooked at many top restaurants and to learn techniques and work with the best quality produce.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Executive Chef
- Demonstrate proficiency in navigating and managing purchasing, inventory, and cost control.
- Lead by example on the line during service, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, inventory, and Department of Health preparedness.
- Develop and mentor the BOH team, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Help keep food waste down to a minimum.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead line cook or similar role, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and guest service.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Schedule
- Available to work Sunday - Thursday PM
- Off Friday and Satudays
Must have open availability weekends and weekdays, great attitude and willingness to learn.
