Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Food Service Team Member to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming for our 2025 season. As a Food Service Team Member, you will display a positive attitude with guests and co-workers while accurately ringing up merchandise and product in an efficient manner.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

• Greet guests and provide details on items for sale while using suggestive selling techniques
• Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines
• Adhere to all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Participate in set-up, opening & closing procedures, arrange inventory, notify supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortages
• Perform clean-up duties to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment
• Properly record all transactions via the point-of-sale system and inform guests of the amounts owed
• Collect the proper money for food and beverage items; process credit cards or determine correct change for guests
• Ability to place and remove plates, utensils and glassware; Perform duties including scooping ice cream and other physical restaurant tasks.

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to provide excellent guest service
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory
• Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and receive orders
• Delight all guests by providing a friendly, positive experience; sharing your knowledge of Yellowstone and the surrounding areas
• Prior guest-facing experience in a fast paced work environment, preferred
• No experience or diploma required

• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand

Yellowstone General Stores are located throughout Yellowstone National Park including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. The locations offer the opportunity to explore more than 1000 miles of hiking trails, 40 waterfalls, and 10,000 hydro-thermal features like hot springs and geysers.
