You are an Executive Chef that has strong leadership skills and an abundance of creativity driven by passion in the Food & Hospitality space. Must have a strong knowledge of classic and modern European cookery.
Position Overview
The job duties for this position will require creative approaches to menu design, team management, cost control, and client relations. It requires strategic marketing, organizational flow, and follow-through on self imposed tasks and goals. Your staff will be trained to ably perform according to standards and expectations that shall be instituted through a positive working experience and example. All facets of Food Production, Special Events and Catering will be under your auspices. Your ability to lead a high performing team (Leadership), create compelling food programs (Creative) and create cost controls (Management) that can generate substantial Profit will be the basis of your performance goals and bonus structures.
Essential Job Functions:
- Director in production of creative, dynamic and tasty cuisine.
- Assist in building an award winning catering program.
- Control delegated production and prep areas for restaurant property.
- Fluent knowledge of cost controls. (ie.- labor, purchasing, inventory, preparations, budgeting)
- Assist with production of Kitchen Manual: cost outs, recipes, preparation instructions, plating & pictures.
- Train and execute staffing for kitchen, special events and catering.
- Provide a professional, sanitary, and safe working environment for patrons and staff.
- Oversee aspects of service and integrity of kitchen products.
- Work with ownership to create training handbooks for all front of house staff.
- Provide input at weekly manager meetings
