The Gutter Lower East Side - Chef / Pizzaiolo
The Gutter Lower East Side is looking for a chef and skilled pizza maker. You need to be creative, be hands on, and not be afraid to get on the line. You must have a minimum of 5 years experience. We use a brick oven, and you must be great at making both Neapolitan pizzas. You need to understand the business side of a kitchen. No rookies need apply. Besides pizzas we are looking to develop our pub menu into something really great.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Make top quality pizzas and other food
- NYC Food Handler Certification required
- Oversee Kitchen Operations
- Schedule and Hire Kitchen Staff
- Inventory and Ordering
- Create Specials and New Menu Items
- Work with the GM and Upper Management to establish and follow a budget and SOPs
- Monitor and help maintain equipment
- Bilingual - English / Spanish a plus
