A popular Japanese restaurant in East Village of New York City is opening its new concept in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We are seeking a part-time runner/server to join our team. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and friendly individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
*Coordinating with back of house staff to deliver plates to guests in a timely manner
*Explaining dish components to guests
*Taking orders and serving food and drinks
*Handling payments and making change
*Maintaining a clean and organized dining area
*Assisting with inventory and restocking
*Providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items
Qualifications:
*Prior experience as a server or runner in a restaurant or hospitality setting
*Strong communication and customer service skills
*Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*Positive attitude and strong work ethic
*Knowledge of Japanese culture and cuisine is a plus
Schedule:
Weekday and weekend dinners.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($10.00 - $11.00) plus tips
