Assistant Manager - Pie Room by Curtis Stone

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team at Pie Room by Curtis Stone. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards across the bakery and retail spaces. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive environment for both the team and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
    •    Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
    •    Supervise and support staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
    •    Uphold excellent customer service standards, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    •    Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste.
    •    Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the store, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
    •    Assist with sales tracking, KPI monitoring, and implementing strategies to meet business goals.
    •    Handle administrative tasks such as cash management, reporting, and basic record-keeping.
    •    Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure product availability and consistency.
    •    Step in for the Store Manager as needed, providing leadership and continuity in their absence.

Qualifications:
    •    Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role, preferably in a bakery, café, or retail environment.
    •    Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
    •    Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    •    Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
    •    Proficiency with POS systems and basic office software.
    •    Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
    •    Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Working Conditions:
    •    Full-time position with a flexible schedule based on operational needs.
    •    Physical requirements include standing for long periods and occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
