Job Description: We are seeking skilled and dedicated Line Cooks to join our culinary team at Lucky . The ideal candidates will have experience in Chinese cooking techniques and a passion for Taiwanese culinary traditions. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing dishes that delight our guests while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:  Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and marinating. - Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation.
Execute cooking tasks on the line as directed by the Kitchen Manager and Sous Chef.
Master various cooking methods, including stir-frying, steaming, and braising, particularly in the context of Taiwanese and Chinese cuisine.
Plating: Plate dishes in an aesthetically pleasing manner, adhering to the restaurant's presentation standards. - Ensure all orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout the shift. Keep track of inventory and alert supervisors of any shortages or necessary orders.
Food Safety: Uphold all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Participate in regular kitchen cleanings and adhere to guidelines for food storage and safety.
6Collaboration:Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive team environment. - Communicate effectively with servers and other front-of-house staff for timely service. Adaptability: -Be prepared to handle changing priorities and menu items based on guest demand and specials. Show a willingness to learn and improve cooking techniques and practices.
Qualifications:-Previous experience as a line cook, preferably in a Taiwanese or Chinese restaurant.  -

Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. - Positive attitude and a passion for food and culinary excellence.
