James Beard Award-winning culinary legends, Nancy Silverton and Stephen Starr, have joined forces to bring LA’s beloved Osteria Mozza to an iconic corner of Georgetown in Washington, DC.  Mozza embodies an energy and passion for dining that is the perfect match for the District’s vibrant food scene.

The team is currently seeking an experienced Pizzaiolo Sous Chef who is interested in working with a large, collaborative, cohesive culinary unit executing amazing Italian fare made with high-quality ingredients and integrity. 

This position offers a comprehensive package including:

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience in high volume, fast-paced, culinarily driven kitchens 
  • Experienced in pizza kitchens: dough production, stretching and baking
  • Attention to details of food quality, ingredient preparation, and presentation 
  • Passion for training and development of others 
  • Flexible and adaptive to rapidly changing priorities and work demands
  • Strong written and computer skills

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($60,000.00 - $75,000.00)
