Position Summary:
The Bartender at Snorkelbox plays a vital role in delivering an outstanding guest experience. They are responsible for upholding service standards, contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere, and executing daily operations efficiently and creatively.

Responsibilities

Service:

• Maintain a welcoming environment for all guests.
• Follow consistent steps of service to ensure every guest receives the same high-quality experience.
• Keep bar and guest areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Efficiently manage service tasks, including:
  • Greeting and assisting guests with drink selections.
  • Serving beverages and clearing bar tops and tables.
  • Washing, polishing, and restocking glassware.
• Monitor stock levels, communicate shortages, and restock as needed.
• Perform weekly prep for batches, syrups, juices, and other bar essentials.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the liquor room and prep tools.
• Assist with dish machine maintenance, including chemical levels, unclogging blades, cleaning the drain grate, and deliming.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.

Hospitotally:

• Deliver genuine, memorable experiences that exceed guest expectations.
• Foster a warm, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere.

Creativity:

• Collaborate on developing new cocktails and menu items in alignment with the bar's core menu and concept principles.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Prior bartending experience is preferred but not required – enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
