The Surfrider Hotel in Malibu, CA is currently looking for experienced day and evening
line cooks.
The Surfrider Hotel Restaurant is focused on working with local organic farmers and
purveyors to celebrate Southern California’s bounty. The menu is California to its core
with a nod to Australian and Mediterranean coastal fare.

years kitchen experience, and be able to perform the following actions:

● Maintain all health code protocols
● Have a valid food handler certificate
● Ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are
properly dated and organized for quality assurance
● Keep cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation
hours
● Perform food and product prep work by keeping detailed records and
minimizing waste
● Verify that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently
well-managed
● Perform equipment cleanliness and maintenance
● Perform all duties of Line Cook job as required
