POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager will demonstrate a passion for design in hospitality. This role will work alongside the President of the company to assist in the delivery of all phases of restaurant projects from conceptual ideas through to implementation. The Project Manager will demonstrate a strong balance between design sensitivity and technical knowledge, together with the project organization skills that are necessary to operate in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate design presentations, preliminary space plans and 2D, 3D design concept studies and sketches
- Create floorplans, elevations, details, reflected ceiling plans, furniture plans, shop drawings, materials and finish schedules. Ability to field measure and document existing building conditions.
- Prepare specifications and schedules with accurate product information for furniture, plumbing, appliances, lighting and finishes.
- Close collaboration and communication with the design team, clients, consultants, contractors and vendors
- Manage several projects simultaneously
- Regular onsite visits of restaurants and daily travel
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- A minimum of 3 years of project management experience within a hospitality setting
- Ability to create set of construction drawings, specifications and schedule
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Proficiency in Adobe CS
- Must be able to demonstrate strong detailing skills and understanding of interior design
- Strong presentation skills using rendering software, Sketch Up, Adobe Suite and hand sketches a plus
- Must be organized in all facets of the job to ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects
- Experience in FF&E procurement & software
- Construction management skills
- Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Excellent multi-tasking ability, highly organized with great attention to detail
- Exceptional customer focus and management of vendor relationships

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs at times.
- Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the work area and property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
- Climbing steps regularly
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to sit at a desk for periods of time and working on a computer.
COMPENSATION
The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
