Job Title: Lighting Technician / Light Show Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Lighting Technician to join our team and lead the charge in delivering immersive lighting experiences that captivate and excite.
Our venue is designed to host world-class DJ performances, live events, and unique club nights. The lighting system is a critical element of our atmosphere, and we’re looking for someone who can help push the boundaries of what’s possible in nightclub lighting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and program lighting consoles, including DMX-controlled lighting systems, to produce energetic and captivating light shows during events.
- Collaborate with DJs, performers, and production staff to synchronize lighting with music and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain lighting equipment, ensuring that all components are functioning optimally before, during, and after events.
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently during events to minimize downtime.
- Develop and execute lighting designs for special events, themed nights, and seasonal promotions, aligning with the creative vision of the venue.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down lighting equipment before and after events.
- Stay updated on new lighting technologies and industry trends to continuously improve and evolve the lighting program.
- Participate in all company-provided training and development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience (Preferred) as a Lighting Technician in nightclubs, concert venues, or live event spaces .
- Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, including DMX controllers, LED systems, moving heads, and lasers.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute creative lighting shows that complement various music genres and event types.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with DJs, performers, and the production team.
- A passion for nightlife and live entertainment, with a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Role may require repetitive motion, including navigating around a multi-level venue and handling lighting equipment.
- Ability to remain focused and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
