Damian, located in the Arts District , is currently seeking an experienced Maitre' D to join their team.

Some responsibilities of the Maitre'D include: 

• Serve as a brand ambassador to staff and guests
• Work closely with staff to enhance guest experience and maximize covers
• Communicate with guests about special events , reservation preferences; develop relationships with VIP’s and understand their needs
• Create and manage books to increase availability for last minute reservations
• Oversee Host team , and assist with coaching , mentoring, and training 
• Monitor guest feedback and communicate findings to staff and train on best practices accordingly
• Maintain guest database

Position Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years Guest Relations Management experience in a high-volume setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservations applications
• Ability to work flexible hours which may include holidays, weekends, and evenings
