Damian, located in the Arts District , is currently seeking an experienced Maitre' D to join their team.
Some responsibilities of the Maitre'D include:
- Serve as a brand ambassador to staff and guests
- Work closely with staff to enhance guest experience and maximize covers
- Communicate with guests about special events , reservation preferences; develop relationships with VIP’s and understand their needs
- Create and manage books to increase availability for last minute reservations
- Oversee Host team , and assist with coaching , mentoring, and training
- Monitor guest feedback and communicate findings to staff and train on best practices accordingly
- Maintain guest database
Position Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years Guest Relations Management experience in a high-volume setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservations applications
- Ability to work flexible hours which may include holidays, weekends, and evenings
