Café Boulud is inspired by Daniel Boulud’s four culinary muses: la tradition, classic French cuisine; la saison, seasonal delicacies; le potager, the vegetable garden; and le voyage, flavors of world cuisine. Having earned three stars in the New York Times as well as a star in the Michelin Guide, Café Boulud is both a destination and a neighborhood gem for casually elegant dining seasonal wine tasting dinners, Sunday brunch and intimate, private events.
The Garde Manger is responsible for preparing and finishing all hot and cold foods; assisting the unloading of deliveries; stocking and rotating the product; maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department and Dinex standards. He/she must have the ability to read and follow menus and recipes, complete basic mathematical calculations, and possess strong communication skills, and the ability to work within a team environment.
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate from a culinary training program with general knowledge of service sequence or have at least 1 year of kitchen experience, a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
A culinary training degree is preferred, but not required.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.00 - $19.00)
