Line Cook

The Lobby Club is a members only dining club catering to politicians, lawyers, and state workers offering classic American fare in downtown Trenton. As we head into the holidays, we are seeking experienced line cooks to join our team for part time or shift work. We are open Monday through Friday 11am - 7pm

• Working knowledge of kitchens
• Is hard working, has an attention for detail
• Experience in multitasking
• Genuine desire to be helpful: able to jump in and assist other departments when necessary
• Works cooperatively with others
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment 
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• Candidate works well in a team environment
• Candidate is detail oriented and highly organized
• Candidate has excellent interpersonal, communication and people skills 
• Works with professionalism and is self-driven
• Has a passion for hospitality, service, food and beverage

Requirements & Experience

• Knowledge of cooking techniques
• 1 Year minimum kitchen experience and a desire to learn
• Ability to respond to emergency situations to avoid endangering themselves or others
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand, up to 8 hours per shift
• Flexible in schedule
• Time management skills
