Korean

Casual Dining

At JeJu Noodle Bar our main focus is to allow diners to experience and savor the distinct Korean flavor by using different techniques & ingredients from Chef Douglas's experiences.

The close Korean equivalent of the Japanese Ramen, Ramyun is a comfort dish enjoyed by Koreans of all social class and ages. Dedicated to Korean Ramyun, Chef Douglas wanted to create something different and to focus on what he's learned but in a casual manner, so a lot of customers can easily access it. And while Ramyun has a long history in Korea, we see an opportunity to share it with everyone and anyone who might not be as familiar. But of course, it'll have his twist to it.

Douglas K.- Business Owner
Upon graduating from CIA, Chef Douglas Kim embarked on the Crystal Serenity cruise for a trip of his lifetime: 65 countries around the world. Since his return, he has accumulated more than a decade of experience in the restaurant scene: Gordon Ramsay, Nobu, Per Se, Bouley, Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare, Morimoto & Zuma
