James Beard award-winning restaurateur Stephen Starr's El Vez celebrates the festive soul of Mexican and Mexican-American culture, a true south-of-the-border spirit that manifests itself in the restaurant’s attitude and atmosphere. The breathtaking space is a feast for the eyes with imaginatively designed dining areas, a large bar featuring 150+ tequilas and mezcals, and a wrap-around landscaped patio for dining al fresco. 

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and skilled Beverage Manager who shares our passion for service, Mezcal, Tequila, and all things beverage to join our team.  

This position offers a comprehensive package including:

  • A base salary range of $80,000 - $85,000
  • Quarterly bonus program up to 15% 
  • Referral bonus programs
  • Paid vacation and sick time

  • Dining privileges at over 25 affiliated STARR Restaurants

 Qualified candidates will have:
  • 3+ years of experience overseeing an evolving beverage program at a reputable restaurant
  • Strong leadership and strategic management skills
  • Ability to drive performance and success of a diverse hourly staff
  • Advanced computer and administrative skills 
  • A love for Mexican cuisine & culture - a plus!

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $85,000.00)
