Job Details
We are looking for a part-time SERVER to join our team. Specific preferred availability is TUESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY with a 10 AM  4 PM lunch service and  8 PM dinner service. You can expect to be off around 10 PM most evenings (last seating at ~8 PM). 30 minutes of break time will be allocated between lunch and dinner service.

This position is unique in that ideally you would possess cooking and prepping skills as well as serving and retail skills which we can teach and train you. This job requires customer service, cleaning and interaction with retail customers.

Marky's Caviar is a fine casual dining room located within Marky’s Caviar retail front highlighting gourmet products available in our retail shop, created by Corporate Executive Chef Buddha Lo.

  • We serve an à la carte menu daily, working with classic dishes emphasized with a gourmet twist.
  • À la carte menu is served Monday – Sunday 11 AM  4 PM, Wednesday – Sunday 6 PM – 8 PM, where Corporate Executive Chef Chef Buddha curated a caviar-inspired, à la carte tasting menu highlighting popular classics with a culinary twist, traditional caviar service and other fine foods.

*Marky's Caviar is the original location of Husowith Huso's looming relocation to a larger space in Tribeca, this original location has been renamed to Marky's Caviar, but is still under the same leadership. Previously, Huso has been featured on the Michelin Plate in 2020, 2021 & 2022 additionally Michelin has named Huso Top 6 most romantic restaurants in NYC in 2022.

*Corporate Executive Chef Buddha Lo won TOP CHEF Season 19 and Season 20 World All Stars. 

We're looking for someone who is passionate about food, gourmet products and caviar especially with a caviar heavy based menu. We want to provide every guest with a thoughtful, warm service. We are a small staff, so it is important that everyone works together and has a willingness to help out with whatever needs to be done. This position is demanding, with a serious approach first class to customer service, quality of product and food. All team members wear multiple hats challenging your ability to multitasks and delegate thus providing a lot of room to grow within our company. 

  • Tips are shared amongst hourly cooks and servers on the same shift (outside of salaried cooks)
  • Additional commission is provided on retail sales of caviar and other gourmet food products

The key factor is that our dining space and retail shop are adjoining, and all employees are responsible in being able to serve tables, take care of retail, and do minor food prep. 
 
Job Type: Part - Time - Note, we do not accept 1099 independent contractors and require proof of residency.

We are closed on most major holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.

Shift: TUESDAY (10am-6pm), FRIDAY &SATURDAY 10 AM  ~10 PM (30 minute break after lunch)

Marky’s Caviar on Madison Avenue is our first location in New York City and the original retail front for our Michelin Plate restaurant, Huso, a caviar-speakeasy concept with seating for 12 tucked away behind the curtains of Marky's Caviar.

With Huso's upcoming move to Tribeca, this existing location will remain under the helm of Corporate Executive Chef Buddha Lo, where it will continue to serve an extended caviar-inspired à la carte menu and caviar service in its speakeasy concept under the Marky's Caviar name.

Stop in to discover to discover an assortment of gourmet foods including caviar, foie gras, fresh truffles, Italian cheeses, Spanish meats, fine wines, champagnes, chocolates, and more. While shopping, inquire about our exclusive “farm-to-spoon” concept, featuring caviars harvested directly by our subsidiary, Sturgeon Aquafarms. Marky’s on Madison is also our only location offering hand-selected caviar under Marky’s “Private Stock” label, reserved exclusively by our specialists.

Our employees are taught valuable knowledge on caviar and other gourmet food products as they hone both their retail and cook/server skills.
